How it works

  1. Scan the barcode

Point your camera at the barcode. Zabihah AI looks the product up in open product databases and checks its ingredient list.

  2. Or photograph the ingredients

No barcode, or the product is not found? Take a clear photo of the ingredient list. After you agree, the photo is read by AI and checked one ingredient at a time.

  3. Read the result

Each ingredient is marked halal, haram or doubtful (mushbooh) with a short reason, and the product gets an overall result.

Private by design

  • No account. Open the app and scan. There is nothing to sign up for.
  • No ads and no tracking. Your scans are never used to profile you.
  • Your history stays on your phone. Past scans and label photos are stored only on your device.
  • Photos only with your say-so. A label photo is sent for reading only after you agree, and we never store it.
A helpful guide, not a ruling

Results come from automated analysis and product databases, which can be incomplete or wrong. Zabihah AI is not a fatwa or a halal certification. Look for a trusted halal certification mark on the packaging and ask a qualified scholar if you are unsure. It is not allergy or medical advice.
